GCSE maths support that starts by understanding your child

Small-group online tuition for Year 10 and Year 11 — never more than 4 students per group. Every student begins with a 1-to-1 diagnostic review, so they're placed in the right support from day one.

  • Groups capped at 4 students
  • Diagnostic-first placement
  • Foundation and Higher tier
  • Regular parent updates

We don't guess. We diagnose first.

Most tuition starts with a timetable slot. Ours starts with a 1-to-1 diagnostic review — a structured session that looks at your child's current level, confidence, exam board, tier, predicted and target grades, and the specific topics holding them back.

Understand where they are

Current working level, confidence with maths, and how they respond to different kinds of support — not just their last test score.

Find the real gaps

We identify the key topic gaps behind lost marks, so lessons target what actually moves their grade rather than covering everything thinly.

Recommend honestly

Only after the review do we recommend a route. If a group isn't the right fit yet, we say so — we never place a student in an unsuitable group.

How it works

A clear, structured path from first enquiry to weekly lessons — with you kept informed at every stage.

  1. Get in touch

Tell us about your child using our short enquiry form. It takes a few minutes and there's no commitment.

  2. 1-to-1 diagnostic review

Your child completes a structured diagnostic session with us covering level, confidence, exam board, tier, target grades and topic gaps.

  3. Personal recommendation

We share what we found and recommend a route — a small group, or temporary 1-to-1 support if a suitable group isn't available yet.

  4. Placement & onboarding

Your child joins a group of no more than 4 students working at a similar level, with a clear plan for the term ahead.

  5. Weekly lessons & progress updates

Structured weekly lessons, ongoing progress tracking, and regular updates so you always know how things are going.

Support routes, matched to your child

The diagnostic review places every student into the route that fits them — not the route that fits a timetable.

Grades 2–4 · Mostly Foundation

Rescue Pack

For students currently working at grades 2–4 who need to rebuild confidence and core foundations. A steadier, more secure route towards passing GCSE maths.

Grades 4–6 · Foundation or Higher

Grade Boosting Pack

For students at grades 4–6 aiming higher. Focused on lifting predicted grades through exam technique and targeted work on weaker topics.

Short-term · 1-to-1

Temporary 1-to-1 Bridge

For students who don't yet fit an available group, or who need short-term individual support before placement. We never force a student into an unsuitable group.

Alongside group tuition

1-to-1 Add-On

Targeted individual sessions alongside group lessons — catch-up after absence, mock exam reviews, or emergency support on a specific topic.

Why groups of 4, not classes of 30

Small groups keep the cost of regular, structured tuition manageable — without losing the individual attention that makes it work.

Every student is seen

With at most 4 students, no one can hide at the back. The tutor sees every student's working, every lesson.

Matched by level

Groups are formed from the diagnostic review, so students work alongside peers at a similar level and tier — not whoever happened to sign up.

Structured, not drop-in

Weekly lessons follow a plan built around the group's shared gaps, with progress tracked over time rather than one-off help.

Who your child will be learning with

We're two students at King's College London who both achieved strong GCSE maths grades, and one of us has hands-on tutoring experience. We teach the first cohorts personally.

We're not classroom teachers, and we won't pretend to be. What we offer is recent, first-hand knowledge of the GCSE maths exams, a structured programme, and small groups where your child gets genuine attention — designed to work alongside what school provides, not replace it.

Our honesty policy:

  • We never guarantee grades — no tutor honestly can.
  • We recommend the route that fits your child, even if that means waiting for the right group.
  • We tell you plainly how your child is progressing, including where things are hard.
  • We work alongside school maths, not as a substitute for it.

Clear pricing, confirmed after the diagnostic

Because every student starts with a diagnostic review, pricing is confirmed once we've recommended the right route for your child — so you only ever pay for support that fits. See the Pricing page for how our plans are structured.

Start with a conversation, not a commitment

Book a 1-to-1 diagnostic review and get an honest picture of where your child is — and a clear recommendation for what would help.
